Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced hourly Commercial Drywall Tapers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces on commercial projects, ensuring a smooth, professional appearance that meets industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Prior construction experience and familiarity with various finishing techniques are highly valued.

Duties

Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams and corners, ensuring a seamless finish.
Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing..
Use hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, and trowels to achieve desired results.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in drywall taping
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation and adherence to safety guidelines are essential.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
