Tattoo Artist — Hourly Pay + Commission + Benefits

BodyMods is hiring experienced Tattoo Artists who want more than just a chair to rent.

In an industry where many artists are left to operate entirely on their own as subcontractors, BodyMods offers something different — a professional studio environment built around consistent income, operational support, long-term opportunity, and real career stability.

With hourly pay, commission opportunities, benefits, front-end support staff, consistent marketing, and structured studio operations, our artists are able to focus more on creating exceptional work and less on administrative stress, inconsistent bookings, and managing every aspect of the business alone.

Chinook Centre opens August 15th, with Market Mall opening October 1st.

What We Offer:

$20–$25/hour based on experience
Commission on tattoo services performed
Additional commission opportunities on select products
Front-end Crew support with bookings, customer service, setup assistance, and studio flow
Consistent marketing and client traffic

What You’ll Do:

Deliver high-quality tattoos with creativity, precision, and professionalism
Build strong client relationships through consultations and aftercare education
Maintain a strong portfolio and active social media presence
Follow strict sterilization, hygiene, and PPE protocols
Collaborate with leadership and Crew to maintain a positive studio culture
Participate in studio events, promotions, and marketing initiatives
Help contribute to overall studio success and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years professional tattooing experience
Strong portfolio showcasing technical ability and artistic range
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Bloodborne Pathogens certification
Professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic
Passion for the industry and continued growth
