Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers along designated routes or as requested by customers
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and addressing inquiries politely
Manage time effectively to adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, ensuring punctuality at all times
Handle cash transactions accurately when processing fares or tips, maintaining proper records of payments received
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols consistently during every trip
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle interior and exterior to promote a professional appearance

Skills

Proven experience in driving, particularly in commercial or taxi services, demonstrating safe driving practices
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse passengers
Strong time management skills to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals and departures
Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly while maintaining detailed transaction records
Knowledge of local streets, traffic regulations, and navigation tools to efficiently plan routes
