Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant/Timekeeper to join our team. This role provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department and Accounting Department. This role assists with recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, payroll support, billing, and general HR functions to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with company policies.

Duties

Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information such as attendance and timesheets.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Help coordinate training programs and employee development activities.
Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Support HR projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Preparing and submitting daily Force reports
Maintaining employees’ schedules and absences
Maintaining employee profiles in Fieldglass
Collect and tally employee work hours, work orders
Compile payroll summary
Process pay formula change requests
Administer employees (shift workers) time off requests
Populate billing spreadsheet for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

Human Resource Certificate or related field.
Previous administrative or HR experience is preferred.
Knowledge of HR processes and employment laws is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
