A Day in The Life of a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

As a Warehouse Associate / Wire Cutter, you will play a key role in supporting customer and regional wire-cutting operations. This position involves accurately cutting and spooling wire to customer specifications, organizing inventory within the warehouse and yard, and assisting with general warehouse operations.

You will be active throughout the shift, handling materials and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other motorized machinery. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Cutting, spooling wire
Loading/unloading trucks, checking goods received
General warehouse/yard organization including stocking shelves
Picking, packing, shipping goods
General maintenance of assigned areas
Computer use
Participating in required Safety training

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required
No experience required / entry level

Our ideal new team member…

Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and to be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear
Has experience or is willing to learn to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power equipment. All training is provided for the successful candidate.
Basic problem-solving skills/computer skills preferred
Energetic, hard-working and motivated to grow, learn and move up in our company

Compensation Details $20.04 - $24.05 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.

In addition, EECOL offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans. Additional details about benefits are available here .
