Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Stucco Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying stucco finishes to exterior and interior surfaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and durability. Your expertise will help transform building facades and interiors, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of various projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your plastering skills to deliver exceptional results efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion of stucco materials.
Mix and apply stucco, plaster, or similar materials according to project specifications and technical standards.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute design requirements and specifications.
Use hand tools, trowels, hawks, mixers, and other equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes on walls, ceilings, and facades.
Perform caulking around windows, doors, and joints to seal gaps and enhance weatherproofing.
Coordinate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the application process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting, plastering, or related trades with a strong focus on stucco application.
Solid construction experience with a good understanding of building processes and safety protocols.
Basic carpentry skills for framing preparation and surface adjustments.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical instructions.
Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site.
Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints effectively.
Familiarity with blueprint reading ensures precise execution of design details.
