Our Client:

We are recruiting multiple Staff Accountants on behalf of a respected boutique CPA public accounting firm based in Milton. Known for their client-focused approach and professional excellence, they offer a full suite of services—from audits and review engagements to tax, payroll, and bookkeeping—for small to mid-sized businesses across various industries.

Location: Milton, Ontario (In Person Only)

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 (Staff Accountant)

Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

During tax season: During March and April, 1/2 days of Saturdays. (hours are banked)

About the Role:

As a Staff Accountant – Audit, you will be responsible for performing accounting/tax responsibilities with a focus on executing audit, review, and compilation engagements. You will play a key role in client communication, tax filings, and financial analysis. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is ready to take the next step in their public accounting career.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and complete audit, review, and compilation engagements.
Prepare adjusting journal entries, year-end entries, reporting, corporate tax returns (T2s), and other CRA filings.
Serve as the primary contact between clients, client staff, and firm personnel.
Analyze and review personal (T1s) and corporate (T2s) tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and complete personal tax returns for clients across Canada.
