Full job description

Pallet Maker

Location: Stoney Creek, ON

Shift: 12 Hour Rotating

Pay: $25 per hour starting wage

Employment Type: Full Time

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Pallet maker to join our production team.

What you will do:

Construct skids and pallets for finished steel products according to customer requirements.
Maintain an adequate supply of lumber, skids, and packaging materials for upcoming production.
Inspect completed skids to ensure they are defect-free and suitable for packaging.
Assist with product storage and maintain knowledge of plant layout.
Work collaboratively with production personnel to support daily operations.
Assist on the 72" Voss Cut-to-Length Line as required.
Perform other duties assigned by the Shift Foreman.At all times, adhere to Taylor's Steel safety and personal protective equipment policies

What we are looking for:

Required:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work 12 hour shifts
Effective interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail

Nice to have:

Hands-on Mechanical ability
Previous manufacturing and/or industrial packager experience
Experience in the steel sector
