Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, including data entry, account reconciliation, and processing accounts payable and receivable. Proficiency in multiple accounting software platform is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in financial services within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions using accounting software such
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial records
Support bookkeeping activities including ledger maintenance and journal entries
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Assist in budgeting processes and financial reporting tasks
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all accounting activities
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth financial operations

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage,
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable procedures
Experience with account reconciliation and bookkeeping practices
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Basic math skills necessary for account analysis and budgeting tasks
Prior experience in financial services or related fields is advantageous
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
