Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our vibrant food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Kitchen Helper will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant experience.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of kitchen staff
Support in food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
Help with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning
Assist in serving food to customers or in delivering meals within the restaurant as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by performing various tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of cooking, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
