Full job description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home care, and hospice environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a person's life through personalized caregiving and support.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Provide patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and health assessments
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or experiencing hospice care needs
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
Follow care plans and document client progress accurately
Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or supporting those with diverse abilities
Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
Certification or training in caregiving, medication administration, or registered care aide
Ability to perform lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Friday Saturday Sunday shifts: Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in caregiving roles is beneficial but not required
