General Labourer – Production (Filling, Packaging & Container Recycle)

Arthur, ON

Part-Time Contract (Mon–Thurs, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Agrisan is a specialty chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturer located in Arthur, Ontario, and part of CG Wellington. We provide a unique work environment where employees develop specialized skills in regulated manufacturing and safe chemical handling.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on production role supporting both filling/packaging operations and our container recycle program. You will play a key role in ensuring products are processed, packaged, and prepared for reuse or shipment safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

If you prefer steady, physical work and being part of a team where your contribution directly impacts production, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

Process returned containers for reuse (washing, rinsing, sleeving, labelling)
Perform filling, labelling, boxing, and packaging of products
Prepare orders for shipment (stacking and loading skids)
Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout your shift
Follow all SOPs and safety protocols
Use required PPE, including respiratory protection when needed
Support powder production (mixing, bagging, boxing, staging materials)
Work with teammates to meet daily production targets
Other general production duties as assigned

What you Bring

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical work (standing, lifting up to 50 lb, repetitive motion)
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Team orientated with good communication skills
Forklift (tow motor) experience is an asset (not required)
No experience required

Work Environment

Fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting
Physical role requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Industrial manufacturing environment (safety equipment provided and required)

Compensation & Schedule

$18.00–$22.50 per hour, based on experience
Part-time contract
Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
