In this role, you will be the centerpiece of our immersive haunted attraction, captivating visitors with your creativity and commitment to delivering thrilling moments. Your lively presence and engaging performances will help create a memorable adventure for guests seeking a spooky thrill. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your acting talents, boost your confidence, and be part of a dynamic entertainment environment filled with fun and fright!

Duties

Perform as a convincing and engaging character within designated scare zones or themed scenes, bringing the attraction’s story to life.
Interact with guests in a lively, energetic manner while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Use expressive body language, facial expressions, and voice modulation to evoke fear, surprise, or excitement among visitors.
Collaborate with fellow actors and staff to ensure seamless scene transitions and coordinated scares.
Maintain character integrity throughout shifts, staying in character even during downtime or interactions with guests.
Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during performances.
Assist in setting up costumes, makeup, and props to enhance the authenticity of your character.

Skills

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Strong public speaking abilities to deliver energetic performances that captivate audiences.
Creativity and improvisation skills to adapt performances based on guest reactions or unforeseen circumstances.
Ability to stay in character for extended periods while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism.
Writing skills are a plus for helping develop character backstories or themed scripts.
Comfort working outdoors or in themed indoor environments under varying weather conditions.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for entertaining others are essential for creating an exciting atmosphere.
