Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or gas station sales are highly valued to support diverse customer needs. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, enhance product knowledge, and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
Provide product demos and explain features to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products and displays according to company guidelines
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology is advantageous
Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude and professionalism
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
