We have a high volume used vehicle department, seeing on average 120 used vehicles. When a used vehicle is inspected by a dedicated Journeyman Inspector, the work he finds, and the sales dept approves, the approved work gets dispersed back into the shop to the general technician population. The work typically is safety related items, which is brake, steering, and suspension type work. These are well-paying flat rate hours for Journeyman technicians to take part in, that otherwise at a normal dealership, they won’t see.
To boot, we have a massive modern, and clean 4-year-old service repair facility with new equipment.
To get even more hours, we have a full-functioning Outbound and Inbound Service Business Development team who help grow the retail side of business, along with the support of the Marketing team.
Along side of our high-growth retail side with customers coming in our Service Drive, we have several programs that help techs make a ton of hours – or gravy as you know it.
From an in-house dedicated Service Business Development Selling team that pre-sells all the Service Interval Guides that are from the OEM, a robust Fluid Exchange program we sell from on every appointment set, to 2 in-floor automated alignment machines in the Service Drive, 2 alignment hoists, to active follow up on every Declined Service/Declined Repair that a tech recommends, but the customer decided not to get done this visit.
Normally the Declined Services equates to more than double the amount of retail sales we’d typically see/sell in any one month. Meaning – it’s lots of work that we recover to get back in your bay for flat rate hours.
We have a dedicated outbound marketing and business development team that both gets new customers, vehicles never serviced here, including off-make, to recovering long-lost customers.
Through these teams, we run 50% off Oil Changes to recover lost customers or to get a new vin number in our shop. Our dedicated Lube & Tire Techs handle that work, but they are trained to do robust inspections and upsells that beyond light-weight 1st year Apprentice work, gets dispatched into the general technician population. Meaning – more retail gravy, which is always fluid exchanges, brake, steering, and suspension.

Right away, we’ll look for what skill sets we can help give you, and what courses we can send you to, to improve your effectiveness, and of course increase your pay. We also pay for any and all Tuition-based costs on booking of your course/class.
Victoria is an incredible city and offers a lot of variety for every lifestyle. From incredible year-round weather versus the rest of Canada, to water everywhere, fishing, boating, the big city of Vancouver shopping, and incredible restaurants.
Victoria sees little to no snow over the winter. In fact, last winter, we had no snow at all. But when we do see snow, it’s maybe a few centimeters, a few isolated days during the winter months – but it melts the same day. And every now and again over the winter it might dip to just below zero (like -2) for an overnight low.
The city of Vancouver is just a hop, skip and a jump by ferry in just over an hour. Or puddle jumpers. You can jump on a bobsled converted into a floatplane if you’re into that as a method of crossing faster. But a large majority of people from Victoria visit Vancouver on the weekends.
The major metropolitan city of Vancouver, and surrounding areas, offer everything any lifestyle could possibly want, including the USA crossing into Seattle by vehicle from Vancouver, or a ferry direct from Victoria in just over an hour.
But with Victoria being a little big city, lots of greenery, mountains, water, and amenities – why would you really want to leave Victoria for the weekend?

We offer moving assistance, and layered bonuses based on skill sets and production.
Since you’ll be on flat-rate we guarantee your first 30 days be hourly. We’ll pay the greater of the two; either your flat-rate hours produced, or your hourly rate during that period.
Our Journeyman Rate is $44.00 per hour, where $2.00 per hour is front-loaded and given out-of-the gate for Stellantis Level 1 & Level 2 courses.
These two courses combined are 40 hours long, and done online, within the first 60 days of employment. But we pay those skill-level bonus right away, so you’re at least $44.00 per hour, to start.
Our Journeyman has stackable bonuses based on skill sets. If you are also a Diesel, and/or Transmission technician, you get another $1.00 per hour each. If you’re EV certified, you there is another $1.00 per hour to add.
Have an Out of Province Inspection Certification? Get another $1.00 per hour. Are you a Chrysler Master Tech? Get another $1.00.
Beyond skill-based bonuses, we have Production-Based bonuses that are based on each pay-period, that are stackable too, as you achieve each level.
Production Bonuses:
Flat Rate Average of 8 hours, or more: $1.00,
9 hours, or more, another $1.00,
10 hours, or more, add another $1.00
All these production, and skill-based bonuses, are stackable, on top of our Journeyman Flat Rate wage.
Pay: Up to $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
