Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a private, online high school. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and computer skills, proficiency in office Excel, Word, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism and attention to detail. Education experience would be valued. Hours would vary and are somewhat flexible.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate student and administrative records using Microsoft Office, as needed
Handle filing systems for student records, administrative documents, and correspondence
Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and basic financial record keeping
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
Support other clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and managing supplies

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Previous clerical or administrative experience in an educational or medical office setting is a plus
Computer literacy including general office equipment operation (scanners, copiers)

Pay: $19.00-$25.76 per hour
