Full job description

We are one biggest learning center in Richmond Hill, we have 3000 sq ft office and over 20 employees. We are looking for creative and organized camp counselors to join our camp. In this position, you will play a key role in shaping and educating our campers by instructing them on numerous activities and experiences. You will also collaborate with other counselors, create recreational plans and activities, and lead campers in fun-filled projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or skill in a special sport or athletic activity (e.g., soccer, basketball, martial arts, yoga, dance, archery).
Willingness to assist with or lead recreational or athletic sessions when needed.
Ability to contribute to other aspects of camp life (e.g., talent shows, team-building games

AI Developer
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and solutions.
Build and integrate machine learning and deep learning models into software products.
Develop and optimize AI agents, chatbots, and automation systems.
Collect, clean, and preprocess data for model training and evaluation.
Test, deploy, and monitor AI models in production environments.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to deliver AI features.
Troubleshoot and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.
Stay up to date with the latest AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Document technical designs, workflows, and development processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Java, or C++.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and AI Agent development.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Experience with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Understanding of data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs.
Knowledge of MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience developing AI applications using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.

Camp Counselor – Math Instructor
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured math lessons and activities for campers aged [4–14 years].
Teach core math concepts (e.g., arithmetic, problem-solving strategies, logic, patterns) tailored to different grade levels.
Introduce advanced thinking skills, including competition-style problem solving and mathematical reasoning.
Guide students through step-by-step problem-solving processes and encourage multiple solution strategies.
Develop engaging activities that build number sense, critical thinking, and confidence in math.
Support students in applying math concepts to real-world scenarios and puzzles.
Differentiate instruction to meet varying skill levels, from foundational learners to advanced students.
Encourage perseverance, logical reasoning, and independent thinking.
Collaborate with other instructors to integrate math into interdisciplinary camp activities.
Supervise campers and ensure a safe, focused, and positive learning environment.
Act as a positive academic role model, promoting strong study habits and growth mindset.

Requirements:

Background in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (degree preferred).
Experience teaching math to children or youth (classroom, tutoring, or camp setting).

Camp Counselor – Drama Instructor:

Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and lead daily drama activities and workshops for campers aged [4–14 years].
Teach foundational skills in acting, improvisation, voice projection, stage presence, and character development.
Direct and coordinate rehearsals, skits, and end-of-session performances or showcases.
Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression through drama-based activities.
Manage group dynamics and ensure all campers are included and engaged in activities.
Work collaboratively with other counselors and camp leadership to integrate drama with overall camp themes and events.
Supervise campers during scheduled activities and transitions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Provide a positive role model for campers through attitude, behavior, and appearance.

Requirements:

Experience in theater, performing arts, drama education, or a related field (coursework or degree preferred).
Previous experience working with children or youth in a camp, classroom, or extracurricular setting.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Creative and enthusiastic with the ability to adapt activities to various age groups and skill levels.
Comfortable leading both small groups and full-camp presentations or performances.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall camp experience.

Camp Counselor – English Instructor
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging daily English lessons for campers aged [4–14 years], including reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
Teach structured writing (e.g., narrative, persuasive, descriptive) and guide students through brainstorming, drafting, and editing.
Develop reading comprehension skills, including identifying main ideas, supporting details, and making inferences.
Incorporate interactive activities (games, discussions, presentations) to improve speaking confidence and articulation.
Support students in building strong language foundations, including sentence structure, clauses, and academic writing skills.
Adapt lessons to different age groups and proficiency levels, ensuring all students are appropriately challenged and supported.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and clear communication through structured activities.
Collaborate with other instructors to integrate English skills into cross-disciplinary camp themes.
Supervise campers during classes and transitions, ensuring safety and engagement at all times.
Provide a positive, encouraging learning environment and serve as a role model for students.

Requirements:

Background in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (degree preferred).
Experience teaching English (ESL or native-level instruction) to children or youth.
Strong understanding of grammar, writing structures, and reading strategies.

Camp Counselor – Computer / Robotics Instructor
Responsibilities:

Plan and lead daily STEM activities, including coding, robotics, and engineering projects for campers aged [4–14 years].
Teach foundational programming concepts (e.g., Scratch, Python basics, logic, loops, conditionals).
Guide students in building and programming robots (e.g., LEGO robotics, sensors, simple automation systems).
Facilitate hands-on projects such as games, simulations, or basic AI/robotics challenges.
Encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity through project-based learning.
Support students in understanding computational thinking concepts (input/output, algorithms, debugging).
