Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Articling Student to join our legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain practical experience, develop essential legal skills, and work closely with experienced professionals. The Articling Student will assist with various legal tasks, conduct research, and support the preparation of cases in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This paid internship is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the legal field and help prepare candidates for their future career in law.

Duties

Conduct legal research and prepare memos on relevant issues
Assist with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence
Attend client meetings, court proceedings, as required
Support the preparation of case strategies and trial materials
Review and analyze legal documents, evidence, and other pertinent materials
Participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and strategies
Perform administrative tasks related to case management as needed

Qualifications

Recently graduated from a recognized law school program
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated interest in the practice areas relevant to the firm’s specialization
Prior internship or related experience is a plus but not required

This role provides valuable hands-on experience in the legal field, fostering professional growth and development. Candidates should be committed to learning, adaptable, and eager to contribute to meaningful legal work.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
