Full job description

Job Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel. This role is vital to providing an exceptional guest experience and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed.
Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the maintenance team.
Ensure public areas (lobbies, restrooms, corridors) are clean and well-maintained.
Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the use of cleaning chemicals is safe and proper.
Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues with professionalism.
Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel environment.
Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Schedule:

Full-time/Part-time positions available.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
