Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, with the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residential, commercial, and automotive properties by installing, repairing, and maintaining various locking systems.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace locks and locking mechanisms on doors, windows, safes, and vehicles.
Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently.
Assess security needs for clients and recommend appropriate locking solutions.
Maintain an inventory of locks, keys, and related materials.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Keep detailed records of services performed and materials used.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in locksmith technology.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of lock types, key cutting techniques, and security systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
