Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and meal assembly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, uphold high standards of food safety, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and helping with meal assembly as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work areas, including countertops, sinks, and storage spaces
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Assist in setting up the dining area for service and ensuring all serving stations are stocked and organized
Adhere to all food safety standards and sanitation policies throughout shift

Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling is advantageous
Experience in the food industry or kitchen operations demonstrates a strong foundation for success in this role
Knowledge of food safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations and safe food handling procedures

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
