Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Painter/Labourer to join our team.This role involves performing both painting and general labour tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work mainly resides in Simcoe County.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Assist with rigging and setup of scaffolding or lifts for elevated work areas
- Perform general labour duties such as moving materials, cleaning work sites, and supporting other tradespeople
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met on time
Requirements
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle is required
- Experience in construction painting, restoration, or industrial painting is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physical labour including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Construction experience or background in residential or commercial painting
