Join the Investigative Risk Management Team as an Administrative Support Member – A New Chapter Begins!

IRM, a respected and fast-growing investigations firm based in Barrie, Ontario, is writing the next chapter in our journey—and you could be a part of it.

We're on the hunt for a full-time Contract Administrative Support Member, someone sharp, detail-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments. Someone with a knack for research and analysis, and can juggle priorities like a pro, we want to hear your story.

What You'll Be Doing:

At IRM, no two days are the same. Here’s what your week might look like:

Crack the Case: Analyze evidence, spot legal or regulatory red flags, and help bring clarity to complex investigations.
Tell the Story: Transcribe interviews, prepare detailed reports, and ensure every document is polished and precise.
Keep It Moving: Support the investigation department with scheduling, file tracking, payroll, and internal operations.
Dig Deeper: Perform background checks, property and business searches, and social media sweeps to uncover valuable insights.
Be the Backbone: From drafting strategy letters to managing client information packages, your organization skills will shine.
Own the Admin: Handle invoices, expenses, RFPs, and more keeping the business side of things just as strong.
Coordinate Like a Pro: Book conferences, arrange travel, manage licenses, and keep the office running smoothly.

What You Bring:

We're looking for someone with the right mix of many years of experience, skill, and personality.

Education: Minimum Grade 12 diploma; bonus if you’ve studied business administration.
Experience: 5plus years in administrative roles; legal, law clerk, insurance is a plus.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and basic QuickBooks knowledge.
Speed & Accuracy: Typing 50+ WPM and handling multiple tasks with precision.
Language: Excellent written and verbal English; French or other languages are a definite asset.
Personality: You’re analytical, articulate, and unshakably organized. Whether flying solo or working as part of a team, you get things done and done well.

Location:

This is a full-time contract position to start, in-office position based in Barrie, ON.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 8 AM – 5 PM
Some evenings/weekends may be required depending on project needs.

Start Date:

As soon as possible!

Wage Range:

$ 19.00 to $ 23.00
