Certified Personal Trainer
Iron Realm Fitness – Barrie, ON

Overview

Iron Realm Fitness is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Personal Trainer to join our team.

This role is ideal for a trainer who is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals, providing high-quality coaching, and building strong client relationships in a premium private gym environment.

The successful candidate will provide one-on-one personal training, individualized programming, accountability, and ongoing client support. This role does not require sales.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Training & Client Support

Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to each client’s goals, fitness level, and needs
Perform fitness assessments and create individualized workout programs
Coach proper exercise form, technique, and injury prevention
Track client progress and adjust programs as needed
Provide consistent accountability, support, and encouragement
Maintain professional client notes and records

Client Experience

Build positive and professional relationships with clients
Deliver a high standard of coaching and client care
Help create a supportive, respectful, and welcoming environment
Represent Iron Realm Fitness in a professional manner

Facility Standards

Maintain a clean and organized training space
Ensure equipment is put away after sessions
Help uphold gym policies, etiquette, and overall facility standards
Report equipment or maintenance concerns as needed

Qualifications

Personal Training Certification (required)
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (required)
Professional Liability Insurance
Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, program design, and general nutrition
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

This position may be offered as part-time or full-time, depending on availability, client demand, and fit.

Scheduling may include:

Monday to Friday
Day shifts
Evening shifts
Weekends as needed
