Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring the property, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a background in law enforcement or security, with strong surveillance skills and experience in loss prevention. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure facility.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
Observe and report any security breaches or safety concerns promptly
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity across the property
Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities
Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing assistance as needed
Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to resolve issues
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security vulnerabilities

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques
Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Must be able to pass background checks and any required screening processes
Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly when needed

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
