You’ve built a strong foundation in public accounting—now, where do you want it to take you?

Our client is looking for an ambitious Tax Manager (or Senior Tax Manager) who isn't just looking for a job, but a clear, accelerated path to Partnership. Join a thriving practice where your expertise is valued and your growth into firm leadership is the priority.

Responsibilities:

Support tax partners through the identification of tax planning opportunities and strategies in the firm’s varied client base
Preparation of step planning memorandums and technical reports for clients and partners alike
Assist with the mentoring of other team members with respect to tax
Assist with performing the review of corporate and personal tax returns and tax projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
CPA designation
CPA In-depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation degree are assets
Ideally 4+ years of experience with 2+ years specializing in tax
Ideally a good understanding of accounting
Extensive knowledge of corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax legislation and compliance
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Caseware, and TaxPrep
Prior experience in corporate reorganizations, estate planning and various filings of tax elections (Section 85, CDA, etc.) is preferred

Caseware: 1 year (preferred)
