Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of household appliances, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service abilities. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and problem-solving are highly valued.

Duties

Conduct thorough diagnostics on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals.
Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components such as motors, compressors, electrical wiring, and control boards.
Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
Assemble appliances or replace parts efficiently to restore appliance functionality.
Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used for each job.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and addressing customer questions professionally.
Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with manufacturer specifications and local regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in appliance repair with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques related to household appliances.
Basic familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
Mechanical knowledge including assembly/disassembly of appliances.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for service appointments.
