Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Budtender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers seeking cannabis products, ensuring they have an exceptional experience from start to finish. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and product expertise will help customers make informed choices while maintaining compliance with all regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, evolving industry where your passion for customer service and product knowledge can truly shine.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products tailored to their needs
Provide detailed product information, including effects, dosages, and consumption methods
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and recommending complementary items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, display cases, and storage areas
Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and company policies regarding product sales and documentation
Manage inventory levels through proper filing, stock replenishment, and merchandising efforts
Handle heavy lifting when restocking shelves or moving supplies safely and efficiently
Use computer skills to update records, process transactions, and generate reports as needed
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales or hospitality environments with strong customer service skills
Familiarity with POS systems, such as Cova
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when restocking or organizing merchandise
Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
Strong organizational skills for filing, merchandising, and managing inventory records
Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations
Previous Budtending experience is required
CannSell Certification required.
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
