Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Host/Hostess/Busser and be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience! In this lively role, you’ll be the first to greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure the dining area stays inviting and organized. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly and energetic attitude, guiding them to their tables and managing wait times efficiently
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces regularly
Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service
Support food handling procedures by adhering to safety standards and assisting with basic kitchen or bar duties as needed
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating, service flow, and guest needs
Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries politely, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards
Experience in hospitality, hotel service, or the food industry is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Basic physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting during shifts
