Job Title: STEAM Educator Job Type: Temporary Location: Bathurst, NB Hours: 15 -37.5 hours per weekReports to: Bathurst Makerspace Lead New Vacancy

Job SummaryAs a STEAM Educator, you will help deliver STEAM-based activities, ensure campers are engaged and safe, and create a positive camp experience. Working with other team members, you’ll assist in setting up activities, supervising campers, and fostering a fun, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with STEAM-based activities for children.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Support campers in learning and exploring new concepts.
Help set up and clean up activities and camp spaces.
Work collaboratively with other camp staff to create a fun experience.
Other duties assigned by management.

Attributes and Qualifications: Equal consideration will be given to non-academic skills and experiences of candidates.

Enjoy working with kids and creating a positive learning experience.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
Comfortable assisting with hands-on activities.
Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
Previous experience working with kids (e.g., babysitting, coaching, tutoring) is a plus but not required.
Being fluent in French is an asset.
