The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager to join an established and growing Canadian commercial glazing and building envelope contractor in the Calgary area.
This is a senior-level position responsible for leading complex glazing and façade projects from award through final completion and closeout. Projects include high-rise residential towers, mixed-use developments, institutional facilities and large-scale commercial construction throughout Calgary and Western Canada.
Typical project scopes incorporate sophisticated exterior building envelope packages including stick-built curtain wall, unitized curtain wall, window wall, storefront systems, architectural windows and doors, specialty glazing, metal panels, glass railings and associated façade components.
Projects can range from approximately $1M to $30M+, making this an opportunity for an experienced glazing professional accustomed to managing technically complex, high-value construction packages.
Commercial glazing, curtain wall, window wall or closely related façade/building envelope experience is essential for this position. Candidates without significant relevant industry experience will not be considered.

- Review and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, contracts and construction schedules
- Coordinate closely with general contractors, architects, consultants, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients
- Work collaboratively with internal estimating, engineering, drafting, manufacturing/production and field installation teams

- Identify project risks early and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans
- Manage project changes, evolving site conditions, schedule pressures and competing stakeholder requirements
- Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, technical specifications, quality standards and client expectations
- Monitor site progress and proactively address delays, installation issues and technical challenges
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a senior point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership covering schedule, cost, risk, progress and key commercial issues
- Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers and other members of the project delivery team
- Help drive improvements in project management processes, accountability and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For
This opportunity will suit an established glazing or façade Project Manager who is ready to take ownership of significant projects and operate at a senior level.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically demanding construction environment, making decisions independently and anticipating problems before they impact schedule or budget.
We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the complete glazing project lifecycle – from drawings, engineering and procurement through fabrication, logistics, installation and closeout – rather than candidates whose experience has been limited to general construction management.
Strong leadership, commercial awareness, organization and communication are essential. You will need to confidently manage relationships with clients and general contractors while coordinating internal technical, production and field teams.
