Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team, responsible for transforming residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Prep work and Painting. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality result: Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision
- Execute residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment as needed for preparation and finishing work
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding project scope, progress, and any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properlyExperience
- Prior experience in construction painting, restoration, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with residential and commercial painting techniques including caulking and surface preparation
- Experience with industrial painting processes is a plus
- Proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and rigging equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
