Job Title: Live-In Superintendent

Location: 10 Cumberland Drive, Dartmouth

Job Type: Part-time, Live-In

Compensation: Newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment including power and internet, as well as a salary and phone allowance.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Live-In Superintendent who has a passion for cleanliness and excels in tenant relations. .

Key Responsibilities:

Building Maintenance:

- Keeping the common areas clean and presentable. Areas such as the hallways, stairwells, and exterior. (leaves, garbage)

- Perform routine inspections and meet with contractors

- Manage seasonal tasks (laying salt, gardening, etc)

Tenant Relations:

- Respond to tenant requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

- Handle move-ins and move-outs, including inspecting units and assisting with any necessary repairs or cleaning.

- Intercom set up for tenants.

- Other tasks as needed.

Emergency Response:

- Be available for on-call duties, including after-hours emergencies (e.g., plumbing leaks, security issues)

Coordination of Contractors:

- Schedule and supervise contractors for specialized repairs and services when required.

Communication:

- Communicate with tenants regarding issues or on-going projects in the buildings.

- Communicate with the property manager on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a superintendent, cleaner, or in a similar role.

- Excellent communication.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Must be able to live on-site and be available for emergencies.

- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance would be a bonus.
