Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter to provide attentive supervision and support for children in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess caregiving skills, and be committed to fostering a positive and engaging experience for kids. Duties
- Supervise children during designated hours, ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including play, reading, and educational exercises
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help with homework or learning activities, promoting educational development
- Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, rules, and discipline strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in the child's area
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's behavior, needs, or concerns
- Provide compassionate care for children with special needs or disabilities when required
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience and empathy
- Ability to teach basic skills or concepts appropriate for the child's age
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual with excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Certification in CPR or first aid is desirable but not mandatory
- Prior experience in caregiving or teaching roles will be advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
