Full job description

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating transportation, imports, exports, and day-to-day logistics while also supporting general operations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and clear communication with customers, carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations and assist with logistics coordination across the business.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to manage the import and export of products between Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Ensure shipments are properly documented, compliant, tracked, and delivered on time.
Schedule pickups and deliveries while monitoring shipment status and resolving transportation issues.
Prepare, review, and organize shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, customs documents, certificates, and related paperwork.
Communicate with suppliers, customers, carriers, brokers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment flow.
Support inventory movements, warehouse coordination, customer orders, and operational follow-up.
Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen customer service.
Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in logistics coordination, transportation, supply chain, import/export, or operations.
Experience coordinating imports and exports between Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Working knowledge of customs documentation, international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and import/export compliance.
Experience with refrigerated or frozen food transportation and food distribution is considered a strong asset.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and general business software. Experience with QuickBooks is considered an asset.

Pay: $24.04-$25.64 per hour
