Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and preparation, with a focus on creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients for various pizza toppings.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Skills

Proficient in food handling techniques and practices within the food service industry.
Experience in meal preparation, particularly in a restaurant or kitchen setting.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
