Child Care Kitchen Staff –Part Time – Discovery Collegiate Child Care Centre Bonavista Peninsula
Wage Range: $16.50-$18.00/hr

Join Our Team

We are seeking a Kitchen Staff to support operations in the Discovery Collegiate Child Care Centre. Creating a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, while keeping a clean work environment and assisting with other duties as needed for our licensed child care centre. This job requires completing repetitive tasks, ongoing cleaning and sanitization, ordering supplies, and menu/food prep within licensed childcare regulations. The successful Kitchen Staff would also be required to complete the Casual Care Giver program through AECENL.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Food Handler Certification
Immunization Records
Casual Care Giver Certification
Experience working in a child care setting is considered an asset
Experience working in the food service industry
Standard First Aid and CPR
Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Checks are reviewed on a individual basis
