Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food preparation and cooking expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality food service. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, managing food safety standards, and ensuring the consistent delivery of delicious dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. A background in restaurant management, team management, and hospitality is highly desirable to foster a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee all aspects of food handling, cooking, and presentation to maintain high quality standards
Develop and implement menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving of dishes to guests
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold hospitality excellence and customer satisfaction
Maintain a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and effective communication

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team within a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience is preferred
Familiarity with the food industry trends and hospitality best practices
Ability to serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and culinary excellence
