About Green4Good IT Lifecycle Solutions
Green4Good IT delivers circular economy solutions for IT asset management by transforming the way organizations handle their legacy technology. Through a focus on reuse, we provide an integrated sustainability approach that generates measurable environmental and social impact.
Our award winning program takes corporate end of life IT assets and refurbishes them for a second life. G4G developed this market by recognizing the alignment between responsible asset disposition and reuse. While these assets may no longer support the latest operating systems or modern applications, they remain well suited for use in education, small business, non profit, and community organizations.
By placing these assets into appropriate secondary markets, their useful life is extended. At the same time, the funds generated through resale are returned to our corporate clients. Some clients reinvest these funds internally, while others choose to donate the proceeds to local charities, further amplifying the social impact of the program.
Since inception, Green4Good IT has supported more than 300 charities, diverted over 2 million assets from landfill, and deferred more than 500,000 tonnes of CO2e. By aligning IT lifecycle management with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities, we enable organizations to advance their sustainability commitments while maximizing the value of their technology investments. Founded in 2007, Green4Good IT Lifecycle Solutions (G4G IT) delivers high quality, secure, and sustainable IT Asset Disposition services, along with innovative leasing and financing solutions. Green4Good IT is a subsidiary of Compugen Inc., one of Canada’s largest integrated solutions providers.
