Role - Senior Fullstack Developer (contract):
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with proven expertise in Java microservices and Angular front-end development for a 6-month renewable contract. This role is critical to building scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions in the healthtech sector.
Start Date: January 6, 2026
Type: Contract (6 months, renewable)
Location: Hybrid
Language: English (bilingual a strong asset)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular 17+ with PrimeNG.
- Build robust and efficient back-end services leveraging Java microservices with Micronaut.
- Integrate and maintain healthcare standards and interoperability using FHIR (Smile CDR).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end solutions for patient scheduling, clinical documentation, order management, and other healthtech use cases.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to support production systems.
- Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprints, planning, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development.
- Front-end: Angular 17+ with PrimeNG.
- Back-end: Java microservices using Micronaut.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Github, Jira, Confluence.
- Mandatory healthtech industry experience (e.g., patient scheduling, clinical documentation, order management).
- Solid understanding of FHIR standards (experience with Smile CDR strongly preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a hybrid, fast-paced startup environment.
- English required (French an asset)
- Autonomy, willingness to discuss/challenge decisions, propose alternatives/new ideas.
- Open minded, open to feedback.
