Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and control chemical process equipment, including reactors, spray dryers, pumps, compressors, blowers, dryers, utility systems, and packaging equipment.
Perform material charging, transfers, and handling of hazardous substances in accordance with safe operating procedures.
Maintain required documentation including batch instructions, logs, product identification checks and traceability records.
Coordinate activities with Lab providing samples and performing basic tests, cooperate with Maintenance to ensure reliable and smooth equipment operation.
Clean plant and equipment, including tanks, reactors, bag houses, and mixers as needed to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all process safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, permit-to-work procedures, safe chemical handling practices, and alarm response protocols.
Assist the Shift Leader and Lead Hand with daily production activities as required.
Operate packaging systems, including 50 lb. packaging lines, as required.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
Maintain regular attendance and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Experience:

Min. of 1+ yrs. manufacturing experience and knowledge of chemical processes would be an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
