Full job description

Ontario Water Werx Inc. are leading experts in the sub surface watermain and sewer repair industry. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable DZ or AZ Driver to join our growing sewer and watermain construction crew in Ontario. This position involves operating trucks to transport aggregates, materials, equipment, and excavated material to and from job sites, while also assisting the crew with general labour duties as required.

Duties:

Safely operate trucks in accordance with MTO regulations and company safety policies
Haul aggregates, gravel, soil, pipe, and construction materials to various job sites
Complete daily circle checks, inspections, and driver logbooks
Assist with sewer and watermain installation, site servicing, trench work, and general labour tasks
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
Support crew members with site cleanup and maintenance
Work safely around heavy equipment and underground utilities
Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations

Qualifications and Experience

Valid Ontario DZ or AZ License with clean driver’s abstract and 3 years of commercial driving experience
Experience in sewer, watermain, or heavy civil construction preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding labour duties
Experience operating construction equipment is considered an asset
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Knowledge of construction site safety procedures
