Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and creative Cake Decorator/Baker to join our vibrant bakery team! Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes with intricate designs, using techniques such as piping, fondant work, and airbrushing to create visually stunning desserts
Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed diligently to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist customers with selecting custom cakes and baked items, providing friendly and knowledgeable service
Package finished products securely for delivery or display, maintaining presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness of the bakery station, including equipment sanitization and ingredient storage
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while upholding high standards of food quality and safety

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or bakery setting
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience that demonstrates familiarity with baking equipment and food packaging processes
