Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing knowledgeable product recommendations tailored to each customer's goals.
This is more than a traditional retail position. We are looking for team members who are genuinely interested in fitness, supplementation, nutrition, and wellness, and who enjoy helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to continuously learn about products and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand customer goals and recommend appropriate supplements and wellness products
- Develop strong product knowledge across sports nutrition, vitamins, wellness supplements, healthy foods, and performance products
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds long-term loyalty and repeat business
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Receive, stock, rotate, and organize merchandise
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked shelves and displays
- Assist with merchandising and promotional displays
- Support inventory management and stock accuracy
- Help fulfill online orders and customer pickups when required
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry developments
- Work collaboratively with store leadership and team members

QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred
- Experience in supplement, fitness, wellness, nutrition, or health food retail
- Personal experience using supplements and sports nutrition products
- Knowledge of common supplement categories including protein, pre-workouts, creatine, recovery products, vitamins, and wellness supplements
- Fitness, nutrition, or wellness-related education or certifications
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
