PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING: This position requires regular availability every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The primary shifts are:

Friday: 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Sunday: 7:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Weekend availability is mandatory. Shift days and times may occasionally change based on business needs, and additional shift coverage on other days may be requested.

Whether you're a curious newcomer or a seasoned enthusiast, our Budtenders are here to guide you to the perfect product for your needs, ensuring a relaxing and fulfilling experience.

We're Looking For:

A Budtender who embodies our spirit of excellence and hospitality. You'll create memorable, intentional experiences, building genuine relationships and understanding customer needs within a compliant framework. Your role is pivotal in achieving our sales goals and maintaining operational excellence which allows you the opportunity to grow within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

Report to the Store Manager/Assistant Managers/Shift Managers.
Forge genuine connections with customers, offering exceptional service and guidance.
Budtenders should understand how the rules of recreational cannabis differs from the rules of medical cannabis and what are the general guidelines between the two sub sectors of the industry.
Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and legislative requirements (AGCO).
Support store maintenance, ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
Maintain adequate stock and accurate inventory counts.
Complete transactions accurately, adhering to all cash and Loss Prevention procedures.
Actively pursue opportunities to exceed customer expectations and enhance business outcomes every day.
Provide feedback to management on customer experience and product variation.
Check identification of customers who appear to be 25 years of age or younger.
Fulfill delivery orders (If needed)

Qualifications/Skills:

Must be 19 years of age or older (Mandatory).
CannSell Certification (Mandatory).
Pre-employment Criminal Record Check (Mandatory).
1-2 years of experience in Cannabis Retail/Retail/Hospitality (Highly preferred).
Knowledge/Experience with cannabis products, consumption methods, and accessories (Highly preferred)
Demonstrated ability in high-volume, fast-paced settings.
Flexible availability for weekly shifts including every weekend, holidays, and closing shifts (Most shifts will be Friday to Sunday).
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid G or G2 driver’s licence (Preferred).
Own a vehicle or access to one for fulfilling delivery orders (Preferred).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
