Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Front Store Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a professional demeanor to assist customers and support store operations effectively.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a courteous manner
Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
Manage cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
Assist customers with inquiries about products, services, or store policies
Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Support inventory management and restocking efforts as needed
Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers to customers
Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements

Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; technical sales experience is a plus
Multilingual or bilingual skills (English required) to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of POS systems and merchandising principles is desirable
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed

This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise while delivering outstanding customer service in a dynamic retail environment.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
