Heart Lake Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic full time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dedicated privately-owned Veterinary Hospital in North Brampton near Caledon, Ontario. (Not Corporate)
We pride ourselves on our clinic culture of a small, close-knit team that supports each other in all aspects, and where staff are treated as equals. We are an AAHA accredited practice and our goal is to provide gold standard patient care and client experience while supporting our staff to explore their personal and educational goals. We are a progressive, family run business and value a healthy work-life balance.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We’re on the hunt for an awesome RVT who genuinely loves animals and thrives in a team that actually likes working together. (Yes, we high-five. Yes, there are snacks!)
You should feel confident handling dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and dramatic personalities — from the “I’m just a baby” American Bully to the 6-pound spicy tabby who will inform you who the boss really is. If you’ve used Avimark before, amazing. If you’re tech-savvy and not afraid of computers having “a moment,” even better.
Ideally, you have:

- Good standing with the OAVT
- At least 1 year in a customer-facing role (because humans need care too!)
New grads, don’t be shy — we love mentoring fresh “baby techs” and helping you grow into your full, confident RVT self. If you’re passionate, kind, and eager to learn, we’re more than happy to invest in your training and help you level up.
If you’re ready to work hard, laugh often, and make tails wag daily, we’d love to meet you.
