Full job description

Schedule: Rotation every 2 months

Job Summary

We are hiring a Batcher for a busy food production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with batching, ingredient weighing, mixing, and food production processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Measure and weigh ingredients according to batch recipes and production schedules.
Operate mixers and batching equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow recipes, production sheets, and SOPs accurately.
Monitor ingredient quantities, batch consistency, and product quality.
Load and handle raw materials and ingredients.
Complete production and batch documentation accurately.
Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized production area.
Perform other production duties as required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Batcher, Mixer Operator, Food Production Worker, or similar role preferred.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
Good understanding of measurements, weights, and production recipes.
Ability to lift and move ingredients/materials as required.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Must be comfortable working around food ingredients and strong food/spice aromas.
