Job Title: Morning Breakfast & Food Prep Attendant

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Schedule: Early Mornings (Shifts scheduled within the 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM window)

Location: Holiday Inn & Suites Mississauga-Meadowvale

Position Overview

The Holiday Inn & Suites Mississauga-Meadowvale is seeking practical, food-service-oriented Morning Breakfast & Food Prep Attendants to join our team. This role combines hands-on kitchen prep, line assembly, and inventory replenishment with front-of-house hospitality.

You will be responsible for preparing hot and cold breakfast items, keeping the buffet line fully stocked during peak rush hours, and maintaining food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble hot and cold morning food items (light cooking, heating, portioning, and plating).
Set up, continuously restock, and maintain the breakfast buffet line to keep up with guest volume.
Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and presentation according to health and safety standards.
Manage food rotation, prep inventory, and raw ingredient restocking throughout the shift.
Maintain a clean kitchen work area, operate commercial dishwashers, and perform end-of-shift teardown.
Greet guests on the floor and clear tables as needed during peak volume.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience in food prep, kitchen assembly, fast-casual dining, or cafeteria service preferred.
Basic knife skills, knowledge of food safety hygiene, and comfort in a kitchen environment.
Reliable availability for early morning shifts starting as early as 5:30 AM on weekdays or 6:30 AM on weekends/holidays.
Ability to multi-task efficiently under time constraints during the peak morning breakfast rush.
Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift inventory up to 30 lbs.
