Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will craft exquisite baked goods and desserts that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. Responsibilities

Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
Develop new pastry recipes and refine existing ones to ensure consistency and quality.
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, including proper packaging of baked goods for sale or delivery.
Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation schedules and meet service deadlines.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients, supplies, and equipment needs.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, explaining menu items, and accommodating special requests when possible.

Requirements

Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; restaurant experience preferred.
Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and food handling techniques.
Knowledge of kitchen safety standards and food industry regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for baking.
Familiarity with food packaging processes for retail or take-out items is a plus.
A proactive team player with strong communication skills who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
