Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. This role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Help with food handling procedures to maintain proper hygiene and safety standards
Serve meals efficiently to guests or customers in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies
Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory is managed appropriately
Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations at all times
Support meal assembly and presentation to uphold quality standards

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices is advantageous
Experience working within the food industry demonstrates knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and food safety

Pay: $17.80-$18.00 per hour
